Skin boosters are an injectable treatment made from hyaluronic acid (HA) which is designed to improve the quality and texture of the skin. There is a range of skin boosters available on the market but most of them cannot be injected in the periocular area around the eyes. Viscoderm is a cutting edge product which can be applied to hydrate and restore the periocular area. Dr Aguilar uses only accredited Hydroboosters in her practice to be sure the procedure will be effective and safe.

WHAT IS VISCODERM HYDROBOOSTERS?

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is a stabilized hyaluronic acid injectable product able to offer a dual function; a biological process of hydration and tissue restructuring, together with a mechanical action to stretch the most superficial wrinkles in a precise and natural way, resulting in its unique HYDROSTRETCH action. The Hydrobooster treatment is injectable, this is so that the product reaches the deepest layers of the skin, ensuring hydration into the layers of the skin and not just the surface. Hydroboosters are popular is due to their versatility, giving meaning Dr Aguilar is able to customise according to the concern areas of the skin and target them specifically. By increasing the dermal hydration levels, the skin's elasticity also increases which reduces and prevents the appearance of wrinkles, while smoothing the existing area with dual-action stretching ability.

SKIN BOOSTERS ARE NOT DERMAL FILLERS, THEY DO NOT LAST AS LONG AS FILLERs UNDER THE SKIN. WE RECOMMEND A COURSE OF 3 SKIN BOOSTERS SPREAD EVENLY THROUGH THE YEAR TO ACHIEVE OPTIMUM RESULTS.

WHAT IS HYDROSTRETCH ACTION?

Hydrostretch action is made possible by the rheological properties of Viscoderm® Hydrobooster; the low gel stiffness and viscosity and high deformability guarantee optimal tissue integration and its use in different levels of the dermis, up to the most superficial layers. For this reason Viscoderm® Hydrobooster is particularly effective on the dynamic areas of the face (around the mouth, eyes and forehead).

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

To achieve the results, you will need two to three Viscoderm Hydroboosters treatments four weeks apart initially and then a top-up at six months to maintain the effect.

HOW LONG DOES VISCODERM LASTS?

Viscoderm Hydroboosters is designed to last around 6 months.
