Natural substances in our body such as hyaluronic acid decrease with age, causing dryness, wrinkles or loss of volume. Lip fillers can be used to give you youthful looking, plump lips or reduce fine lines and wrinkles around your lips. Ageing naturally causes your lips loose definition and become thinner. People of all ages with naturally thin lips can benefit with the use of dermal fillers. The lip filler used is specifically designed to restore natural fullness and shaped lips and improve your natural look. Fillers such as Hyaluronic Acid are a temporary and safe way to plump your lips. The results of lip enhancement are immediate and should last at least 6 months, you may notice some slights swelling and possible bruising following treatment but these symptoms will disappear within 7 days.

You will have a face to face consultation with Dr. Aguilar to explain your expectations and be advised by Dr. Aguilar. The day of the treatment numbing cream can be applied and Dr. Aguilar will inject small quantities of lip filler into the border or body of your lips depending on the desired effect..

Dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA), are a gel based formula similar to the natural hyaluronic acid in the body. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for giving skin its smooth and full appearance. Injecting this gel into your lips restores volume, reduce wrinkles and give a fuller appearance.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE LAST?

This procedure should take 30 mins including local anaesthetic applied to the lip to ensure the area is numb .

WHAT WILL RECOVERY BE LIKE?

Topical anaesthesia is generally used before the injections, so the procedure is painless. Recovery takes about 3 days but bruising and swelling may last as long as 7 days.

For faster recovery: Keep ice packs applied to your lips for the first 48hours, avoid bent over or strenuous activities for 1 to 3 days.

HOW LONG DOES LIP FILLER LAST?
